If you live in the area, have you tried House of Vege (vegetarian Chinese restaurant) in Lomita at 2439 PCH? They have several mock meat meat dishes.

Some of the soy meats that you get in restaurants can be purchased at Asian grocery stores. Morningstar Farms products are available in the frozen section of most supermarkets and Quorn (available at Whole Foods) makes decent vegetarian chicken.meatlessinlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14384869960067245956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7946012776326855397.post-85086955800566192402007-09-26T09:50:00.000-07:002007-09-26T09:50:00.000-07:00Just came across your review. Soho thai in Lomita ...Just came across your review. Soho thai in Lomita also has pad kee moa with a soy chicken option. This has real heat and the soy's texture is also spot on. I was wondering what exactly they used for the soy chicken as I have not been able to find anything close to this texture in the supermarkets or health food stores. Just recently switched to vegetarian cuisine.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04077150632846545141noreply@blogger.com
